For the Supreme Sauce:
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella for milder flavor)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour (for thickening, optional)

Step 1 – Prepare & Sear Pork Chops
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Step 2 – Make the Supreme Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Sauté onions and mushrooms until softened, about 4–5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in flour (optional) and cook 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream, sour cream, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in ¾ cup shredded cheese until melted.
Step 3 – Combine & Bake
- Place seared pork chops back into the skillet.
- Pour remaining sauce over pork chops. Sprinkle with remaining ¼ cup cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven 15–20 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and cheese is bubbly.
Step 4 – Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
