Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt & black pepper to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika
Honey Mustard Sauce

¼ cup honey
-
¼ cup Dijon or whole-grain mustard

1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced
Vegetables & Cheese

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Optional: grated Parmesan for topping
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prep

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

Lightly grease a large baking dish.
2. Season the Chicken

Place chicken in the dish.

Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
3. Make the Honey Mustard Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together honey, mustard, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
4. Assemble

Pour sauce evenly over the chicken.

Arrange asparagus around the chicken.

Lightly season asparagus with salt and pepper.
5. Bake

Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
6. Add Cheese
-
Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese over chicken and asparagus.

Return to oven and bake 5–10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
